PIEGA Sub Medium

The PIEGA Sub Medium exists to extend a system downward without changing its voice. In practice, that matters more than sheer output. A good subwoofer should not announce itself. It should restore scale, weight, and low-frequency structure so the main speakers can sound more settled and complete.

In a system, the Sub Medium behaves in a controlled way. It adds foundation to acoustic instruments, electronic bass lines, and film sound without slowing the timing or thickening the midband. When level and placement are set carefully, the result is not more bass in the obvious sense, but a more believable sense of room, pace, and dynamic ease.

It makes particular sense with the ACE Wireless models, where it can be integrated with very little complication, but it is equally useful in a well-considered passive setup. We would approach it as a final adjustment to balance rather than a special effect. That is usually how it works best over time.

This is for listeners who want a smaller system to sound more complete, or a living-room cinema system to carry proper weight without dominating the room. Once installed well, it tends to disappear into the broader character of the system.
