Moon 371 Network Player / Amplifier
The MOON 371 is designed as the center of a modern two-channel system, bringing amplification, network playback, digital conversion, preamplification, and phono playback into a single component. Its purpose is not simply to reduce box count, but to create a system in which each function works as part of a unified design. MOON’s MDCA amplification and MHP power supply provide the foundation for a presentation built around control, low noise, and consistent tonal balance.
In use, the 371 has the composure expected from a well-designed integrated amplifier. Its 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, doubling to 200 watts into 4 ohms, gives it useful control across a broad range of loudspeakers. The emphasis is on clarity, timing, and maintaining musical structure rather than drawing attention to any particular part of the frequency range.
MiND 2 streaming, a built-in DAC, MM/MC phono stage, HDMI ARC, and analog connectivity allow the 371 to accommodate both traditional and contemporary sources without making the system unnecessarily complicated. It can also function as a preamplifier when a system evolves toward separate amplification.
For listeners who want a serious two-channel system with fewer components, the 371 makes a strong long-term centerpiece. It is particularly well suited to systems where ease of use, clean integration, and consistent performance across digital and analog sources matter equally.
